Born Jesus Christ Allin and later legally named Kevin Michael Allin, he became associated with highly confrontational live performances and underground punk music. GG Allin performed with groups including The Jabbers, The Scumfucs, The Murder Junkies, and The Holy Men. He died on June 28, 1993, in New York City at age 36. His recorded work continued to receive releases after his death.
